Viator never let us down because they choose the best local tour operators, and AATKings is really great. Very well organized tour, excellent tour guides. Enjoyed sunset and sunrize, and recommend bbq dinner under the stars. Jacob and Kevin, you were educational and entertaining. Thanks!

Stayed at Sails in the Desert. A really cool hotel. Everything was taken care of including pick up from airport. At the proper time we boarded the bus and weteb driven by Aaron and Gary. They were great. Very genuine and really love their jobs Saw the sunset and it was amazing. Totally recommend this company and tour.

Would have booked extra tours if we had the time. Knowledgeable and engaging guides. Keep you hydrated and gotta love those cold red towels. The singalong on the trip back from sunset tour was added bonus.

We had a very nice tour with schedules well planned and executed. Staff were well prepared, friendly, helpful and concern of our wellbeing. In every stop or waiting we always have snacks, water or coffee. I would just add more time for tracking for the people who wish to do that.

We initially booked for a two- day stay to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta then added a third day to do the Kings Canyon trip. We were more than a little surprised to find that our extra day's accommodation cost us an extra $600. This didn't even include breakfast! We feel very much like this was presented to us as 'take it or leave it'. When we asked why it wasn't possible to have breakfast included in this price we were to!d - after a two day delay - that we didn't need it as the tours left early in the morning. That may be the case but we should, therefore, have been provided with a packed breakfast. This may all seem like a minor issue but my point is that we never felt like the people at AAT/Kings had our best interests at heart. They took their time answering our queries and, as I've already said, the general sense was 'take it or leave it'.

This is a very intensive tour that depends on a number of areas - airline, hotel, tour company - to go well or it turns into an endurance contest. In our case the first tour iwasat 3:15, but you couldn't check-in at the hotel until 3! Added to the stress, our room was at the very end of the hotel complex, So especially for older guests we are 73, trying to get an early room assigned, running to the faraway room, and then back to the reception area was a real hustle. The tour was very good, but the hassle on arrival together with the heat and long day - back to the hotel about 10:30 if you do the barbecue- took it's toll, especially since we were supposed to meet the next morning at 5:15 for the second tour. That tight timeframe was shortened more because we had trouble with the A/C when we returned to the room that got us to bed after midnight. We were exhausted and decided to skip the second day tour. A shout out for the star talk after rhe barbecue the sky was magnificent and the talk, spectacular!

We only had a short time to try to capture everything, which in the end was positive and negative, It feels like we did most of the main events offered by the tour companies, which were breathtaking, I think realistically we should have only done the sunset, with the BBQ which was excellent. but we did the sunrise also, which was a very early morning. everything was breathtaking, but we only spent about 5 hrs in our hotel room, so instead of the most expensive, we should have chosen the cheapest. the rooms were lovely, but we couldn't appreciate it.

Wasted time with the flies at sunset, late getting back next day and we almost missed our flight...were they concerned??? Hell no.
